Watch: Imani Williams’ acoustic version of her debut single “Don’t Need No Money”

Imani Williams hasn’t really stopped since her collaboration with Sigala on the song “Say You Do”. Her debut single “Don’t Need No Money” didn’t do quite so well on the UK chart.

At the moment, she is currently promoting her debut single up and down the country at various festivals and pride events.

So what better way to promote your debut single, than stripping the song down for a one-off acoustic performance?

That is exactly what Imani Williams has done. “Don’t Need No Money” is originally an upbeat dance track which features Sigala and Blonde. Check out our review. The music video features amazing dance choreography, which Imani Williams nails.

This acoustic video, however, is a total switch. It exposes her vocals and backing harmonies, proving this 16 year old has what it takes to become a global star.

Watch Imani Williams sing “Don’t Need No Money” acoustically here:

Imani Williams doesn’t mess up whatsoever; vocals are on form throughout, totally relaxed and she is loving every minute of it.

Filmed on 20 July 2016, she also took part in a Facebook Live event. We expect her to drop this cover version on YouTube in the coming weeks.
