Imani Williams has dropped her new music video for “Don’t Need No Money”

The day we have all been waiting for. After many teasers, Imani Williams finally drops her music video for “Don’t Need No Money”.

The single has been available to buy and stream since 1 July 2016. Watch the accompanying music video below:

A high quality visual and amazing choreography which is performed to perfection, this music video is on-point. Imani Williams is alluring, fashionable and confident; from her clothes, to her hair, to her make-up.

The video was produced by Danielle Hinde. It is directed by Carly Cussen, who’s portfolio includes: The Saturdays’ “Disco Love”; Ella Eyre’s “Good Times”; Lawson’s “Juliet” & “Money”; Little Mix’s “How Ya Doin’?” & “Move”; and Olly Murs’ “Dear Darlin'”, to name just a few.

Totally introducing Imani Williams as an artist and therefore a singer and a dancer, she stuns in her solo debut music video. She is completely in-sync with her backing dancers yet totally in the spotlight. All eyes are on Imani Williams.

Sigala and Blonde do not appear in the music video which was expected.

This is the summer club tune of the year, in addition to a brilliant visual performance-based music video, set in Los Angeles.

Imani’s Week

Imani Williams has had an exciting week, more has happened that just filming this music video.

Two days before the release, she dropped a teaser trailer first of all on her Facebook page, which she later released on Twitter and Instagram the following day.

She did a Facebook Live acoustic concert for her fans, with snippet videos appearing on her Snapchat. At the concert, Imani Williams performed an acoustic version of “Don’t Need No Money”. In addition, she revealed on Twitter that an official acoustic version will be out soon.

Imani Williams also got verified on Instagram on 15 July 2016. Hopefully her other social media accounts will follow suit.
