We have a brand new single and music video from INNA and it marks her first release of 2019, titled “Sin Ti”. This song is her third single from her upcoming album, titled YO, and follows up previous tracks “Iguana” and “RA“.
INNA, real name Elena Apostoleanu, is one of the biggest Romanian female artists around at the moment, having gone on to have international success with her early singles such as “Hot”, “Amazing”, and “Sun Is Up”. She continued her success with a variety of singles that have hit over 100 million views on YouTube including “Ruleta“, “Gimme Gimme“, and “Heaven“. She has collaborated with some of the biggest artists and DJs including Flo Rida, Pitbull, J Balvin, Daddy Yankee, Martin Solveig, Sak Noel, and Dannic, to name a few. Now, as she’s gearing up to release her sixth studio album, she’s taken creative control, unlocking her songwriting abilities and finally releasing a full Spanish album. We’ve been excited to hear more music from her upcoming LP ever since she dropped “RA” and “Iguana” and we’re loving this new song “Sin Ti”. If these three singles are anything to go by, YO is going to be amazing. Describing the album in our exclusive interview, she used these five words: “Sensitive, YO, artsy, real, love.”
This brand new single has been written by Cristina Chiluiza and Elena Apostoleanu whilst the music was composed by David Ciente and Elena Apostoleanu. David Ciente handled the production of the song, whereas Max Kissaru mix and mastered the track. The music video, as with all the visuals from the YO album, has been directed by NGM Creative’s Bogdan Paun with Alexandru Muresan acting as the director of photography – as revealed in our exclusive interview with INNA.

Continuing on in her new direction, “Sin Ti” has more of a “RA” feel to it, rather than an “Iguana” sound. It feels like the perfect in-between song of these two singles, with a slight hint of her previous upbeat fired-up dance tracks, slowed down to encompass her brilliant vocals and Spanish lyrics. The song is all about – if Google Translate is anything to go by – meeting someone who you haven’t met before but who you feel like you know instantly as if you knew them from a past life – we’ve all been there. INNA manages to convey the story effortlessly in her beautiful singing voice, and listeners easily connect even if they don’t know a single word of Spanish. This may not be the style of music INNA’s fans (Club Rockers) are used to from her but no one can deny her exceptional vocals and lyrics; this new style suits her well, proving her versatility and emotional potential as an artist.
As for the music video, it’s back to basics. After an exceptional narrative music video for “Iguana“, this one comes off similar to “RA“, however, it allows INNA to express the song more so than the first visual from this YO album. In the clip, INNA is sitting on a retro chair, backwards, in a field – reminding us slightly of the “Rendez Vous” music video. She’s wearing a fedora hat with a wide brim paired with an off-the-shoulder black and white dress which has a middle-split. This country-style fashion looks stunning on INNA, proving that she can look sexy in anything and truly work her look.
“Sin Ti” is available to download and stream right now, via Global Records under exclusive licence to Roc Nation. Her new album, YO, is expected to be released sometime this year, with each of the 11 tracks receiving a music video.
