INNA is always energetic on stage, what with her dance tunes making the whole world move to her infectious beat. On 12 May 2018, she was performing at Uniq Istanbul venue in Istanbul, Turkey as part of City Fest 2018.
The stage collapsed as she got closer to her fans. She lost her balance as the stage gave way beneath her and she fell to the side. One of her crew was also injured during the fall.
The incident was recorded and uploaded to a video sharing platform by YouTuber Miguel Casas, who has also uploaded a second video of the fall.

In the second video, INNA reveals that she is okay. She goes on to say: “I’m just… I’m okay… No worries, no worries. I’m… I’m alive.” Her fans start chanting her name as their sign of support to the Romanian superstar.
INNA was later sent to a hospital but confirmed that she was doing okay. In an Instagram post, she put: “Istanbul. The stage collapsed, I’m okay. Thank GOD! Thank YOU for coming! LOVE and PEACE to all of you! We continue our tour in Turkey … See you tomorrow in Ankara.”
And, sure to her word, INNA continued her tour of Turkey, performing in Ankara. She was bandaged during some of the photos that were later posted on her Instagram, yet she continued on and never let her fans down even though a stage collapsing is quite traumatic.
It has not been revealed who was at fault here and what truly went wrong, although the stage didn’t look all that strong. Regardless, INNA didn’t let that stop her from continuing on. Uniq Istanbul has yet to comment on the incident.
This isn’t the first time that INNA has been involved in an accident. Back at the start of her career in 2009, INNA was involved in a traffic accident in Hungary from which she escaped, unharmed.
We wish INNA the best of luck on the rest of her concerts. We really hope we get to see her live again, sometime in the future. She currently has over two billion YouTube views, 4.1 million subscribers, has had hits all over the world, has collaborated with top stars and DJs, and has won multiple awards in her decade-long career. She has a US & Canadian tour coming up later in the year.
