Pop-rap duo Jack & Jack, made up of Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky, have dropped a powerful new track called ‘Stay With Me’, their most meaningful offering yet.
Throughout the song, Jack & Jack tell the story of a young girl who ends her life after being bullied. Inspired by the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, the poignant track shows how hurtful words and actions can affect a person.
‘Stay With Me’ has been in the works for a while – the duo teased the song during a chat with BUILD last year. The track also acts as a part two to their 2014 hit ‘Tides’. After the impact the song had on their fans, they were keen to follow up with another inspiring track.
Check out ‘Stay With Me’ below.
‘Stay With Me’ is the latest release from Jack & Jack, as part of their ‘two week track’ which has seen them dropping new music every two weeks since March. However, the duo are also continuing to enjoy great success with their 2017 smash, ‘Beg’, which has amassed over 26 million streams collectively.
Written by Lauv, ‘Beg’ is currently being promoted in the UK and was recently chosen as Adele Roberts and Scott Mills’ Best New Pop track on BBC Radio 1. Jack & Jack will soon be paying a visit to the UK to perform a sold out headline show at London’s Bush Hall on May 15.
It’s exciting to see how much Jack & Jack have grown as artists over the past few years. After impacting with their indie EP Calibraska in 2015, the duo have achieved impressive sales and streaming figures. Their 2017 EP Gone hit the top 10 of the iTunes Pop Chart in over 15 territories and led them to completing a 31 city headline tour in the US with support from PRETTYMUCH.
Jack & Jack have been on the rise for a while now but 2018 looks set to be their biggest year yet. We’re excited to welcome them to the UK in May as they continue their world domination.
