Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall has become the honorary president of South Shields Football Club.
Within her new role Jade will help to increase the club’s profile on a national and international scale.
A big advocate of her home town of South Shields, she has long supported local charity Cancer Connections and recently invested in her own bar, Arbeia in the town. Which shows just how much she believes in the town she grew up and hasn’t forgotten her roots.
Jade will also work with the club’s charitable foundation – which works with more than 900 children every week during school term times. She is also keen to be an advocate for tackling issues including homophobia, sexism and racism through her role at South Shields FC.
Away from her new role Jade and her Little Mix bandmates have recently released their new single Holiday and will be doing a quiz this evening on their Youtube channel at 7 PM BST.
