We have waited and we have finally received: Jake Miller’s latest music video is even better than we expected.
US singer-songwriter Jake Miller is a CelebMix favorite (ICYMI: we have just published an interview with him in which he talks about all the good stuff happening in the future). So obviously, we are more than happy that he is back, not only with brand new music but also with some highly aesthetic accompanying visuals as the heartthrob extraordinaire has just released the music video for his latest single “Wait For You”.
Released back in November 2018, the groovy track has now gotten the full treatment. Bits and pieces were already teased by the Spotify vertical video included when listening to the track so we were quite curious to see the end result.
Directed by Edgar Esteves, the “Wait For You”video is quite unlike anything Jake has done before. It feels like he not only matured with his music but also with the way he portrays himself: The opening shot reveals Jake sitting in the middle of plants, literally waiting for -you guessed it- us, the viewers, as he takes us on a wild and color-filled adventure. The video then proceeds with some trippy shots that are intersections of Jake and multiple girls dancing. We also find Jake holding a snake or lounging with two clones of himself on a couch next to a dangerous fire.
His latest release is bright, it is vibrant and filled with little easter eggs just waiting to be discovered.
