As James Arthur releases his latest single, “Treehouse”, DJ R3hab has done an awesome remix of the track!

R3hab is a Dutch DJ who is known for his remixes of popular songs. As well as James Arthur, he has also put his own spin on songs by Tom Walker, Kygo, Pink and many more. If you want to find out more about him, then make sure to follow him on social media – Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

The remix takes the song to another level – the verses are slow, with a tropical house-esque instrumental, while the chorus, in contrast, is full on EDM – complete with an epic beat drop! The remix is also a solo affair, removing the raps from Ty Dolla Sign and Shotty Horroh which are present in the single version.

This remix is perfect for the dancefloor, and is musically very different from the hip hop vibe of the original version of the song.

You can listen to the remix below:

“Treehouse” is the fourth single to be taken from James’ upcoming third studio album, “You”, which is due to be released on 18 October. The single follows on from the release of the album’s previous UK top 40 hits: “Naked”, “Empty Space” and “Falling Like the Stars”.

James also had a massive top ten hit with a cover of The Greatest Showman song “Rewrite the Stars” in 2018. Featuring fellow British singer Anne-Marie, the song went top ten on the UK Singles Chart and was taken from the soundtrack to The Greatest Showman: Re-Imagined.

Music aside, James will also be performing on not only one, but TWO upcoming tours. First, the Up Close and Personal Tour will be visiting intimate venues across the UK this October.

The singer will then be visiting the UK once again, alongside other European countries, on the You Tour in 2020, which is scheduled to kick off in Lisbon on the 19 January.

Tickets for the You Tour are on sale now and are quickly selling out! If you want to purchase tickets then click here.

“You” will be released on 18 October, and can be pre-saved on Apple Music here.
