Over the past few days, Ed Sheeran’s new singles ‘Shape of You’ and ‘Castle on the Hill’ have been hugely popular. There has been a lot of covers online and now The Vamps’ James McVey has released his own version.
Normally the band do covers as a group. However, it seems as though James loved the song so much he couldn’t wait to cover it.
James tweeted a few days ago that the single was his new favourite song. He also said that it was great to see Ed back with two new tracks.
There has already been hundreds of tweets about how much people love the cover. People in the comments on the video are also loving it. It seems to be going down really well so far especially as he didn’t give any hints that he was releasing it.
