On April 6, 2016, Janet Jackson announced via Twitter that she was postponing her Unbreakable tour to start a family with her husband.

“My husband and I decided to start our family, so I have decided to delay the tour. Please if you could try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders, but I have not forgotten about you. I will continue to tour as soon as I possibly can.”

This caused delays in the tour and now her tour is being postponed. However, Janet has announced that the Unbreakable Tour will continue in 2017. Tickets that people currently have will be honored and refunds will be available for people who are not able to go to the rescheduled dates.

At first, some Livenation venues were not offering refunds because shows had not actually been cancelled. Livenation has now announced that refunds will be available.

Hopefully Janet fans will still be able to see her perform, even with the tour being postponed.
