He is not only a musician and actor but also a director.Yes, we are talking about Jared Leto.
Leto has signed on to direct Wolf Films’ period thriller ’77’ for Paramount Pictures.
Set in politically charged 1974 Los Angeles, the story centers around two police officers who team up to recover kidnapped heiress Patty Hearst while simultaneously investigating the brutal murder of a fellow officer. They uncover not only relentless corruption and crime but a dark and violent conspiracy as well.
The film will be produced by writer/producer Dick Wolf and Tony Ganz of Wolf Films. Emma Ludbrook is the executive produce.
This, however, is not Jared’s first time directing. Previously he directed a few documentaries, such Artifact, Great Wide Open, Beyond the Horizon and a numerous number of music videos and commercials.
Jared, most recently seen as The Joker in ‘Suicide Squad’, will appear in “Blade Runner 2049” opposite Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling.
