The highly anticipated upcoming revival of Gilmore Girls just got a little bit better if that is even possible: Jared Padalecki has revealed that he will be returning to the show.

Padalecki, who played Dean Forester for five seasons of the popular WB drama, posted a selfie with his name card on Twitter to announce his return for the revival, sending fans of the show into a frenzy.
Dean is one of the many ex-boyfriends of main character Rory Gilmore (played by Alexis Bledel) who is expected to make an appearance in the four-episode Netflix revival of the show.
Accompanying Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia and Matt Czuchry will also be reprising their roles as Jess Mariano and Logan Huntzberger, respectively.
The return of Rory’s infamous ex-boyfriends begs the question: Who will finally end up winning her heart, once and for all?
