Earlier today, it was revealed that Kimberley Walsh, Wendi Peters and Matthew Kelly will be joining Jay McGuiness in Big the Musical, which makes its West End debut this September.

Following this exciting casting announcement, a new video has been released which gives us a taste of what we can expect from Big the Musical when its hits the Dominion Theatre.

Recorded at Angel Studios, the video sees Jay (Josh Baskin) and Kimberley (Susan Lawrence) deliver a stunning version of ‘We’re Gonna Be Fine’. Their performance is simply spellbinding, with Jay and Kimberley’s vocals complementing each other’s perfectly.

It leaves us with no doubt that Big the Musical is going to be something quite special, and we simply cannot wait for September to roll around in order to see the show in all its glory.

Check out the performance of ‘We’re Gonna Be Fine’ below.

Based on the 1988 film starring Tom Hanks, Big the Musical follows 12-year-old Josh Baskin who simply wants to be ‘big’. After making a wish on a Zoltar machine at a local carnival, his wish is granted and he wakes up trapped in an adult’s body and must learn to navigate life as a grown up. However, is being ‘big’ all it’s cracked up to be?

Big the Musical will make its way to London’s Dominion Theatre on September 6 for a limited nine week run, finishing on November 2. The West End run follows on from the production’s European premiere in Plymouth and Dublin in 2016-2017.

Tickets for Big the Musical are available now from the Dominion Theatre website. All tickets include a £1 donation to Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK.
