Former teen pop star turned American influencer JJ Hannon will celebrate his 21st birthday with a bumper party at Libertine in London this weekend.
Fans may best remember JJ as a fresh-faced singer who first started off on Musical.ly as a 14-year-old covering chart hits.
By the age of 16, the singer had got himself on a couple of American tours with higher-profile artists and began to grow a following of his own
Those exploits eventually brought him to the UK and Europe where he began moving in the same circles as rising stars such as HRVY, Max & Harvey and RoadTrip – he also spent time working on a campaign with One Direction star Liam Payne in his early years.
Whilst still carrying those musical ventures with him, the influencer now is CEO of Ivy League Marketing and has ambitions set on charity work and a stint at college too. JJ also turns his hand to cryptocurrency and is a big sneakerhead.
Between the pandemic and reaching his early 20s, a lot has changed for the star and he’ll be celebrating his first public appearance in the UK since 2019 at Libertine in London this weekend.
JJ will host a belated 21st birthday bash open to the public at the central venue, with familiar faces including Jack Duff, Brooklyn Wyatt and Mackenzie Sol teasing their attendance.
JJ told Power Radio: “The upcoming event in London is to celebrate my 21st birthday late because I was sick during my real birthday and that’s such an important birthday! I’m going to be turning the place up that’s for sure!”
