Jordan Gray Releases Music Video For “Platinum”

Out on the 25 November, Jordan Gray’s debut single “Platinum“, has just got a music video.

The song is one we can’t get out of our heads. She made her name in The Voice UK, especially when Paloma Faith brought her back into the competition. She became the first trans to appear on The Voice in any series across the world.

The music video features the first cis male-trans female love scene in a mainstream music video. It’s enlightening and natural to watch. Jordan Gray is holding nothing back, and why should she?

Directed by Jak Kav and Jordan Gray, the video features male actor Mickey Taylor as the love interest. Billie Gold and Isabella Bliss also star in the video.

Watch Jordan Gray’s music video for “Platinum” here:

The music video starts off with Jordan Gray at the piano, reminiscing over her relationship with Mickey Taylor. Scenes are shown as memories, from the bedroom scene to the classroom scene. The latter of which works with the lyrics “class dismissed” in the amazing rap section of the song.

We later watch Jordan Gray with Isabella Bliss and Billie Gold. These scenes break up the music video, as well as the amazing performance piece.

We watch Jordan Gray on stage; she’s giving it her all, all the while having fun. She is clearly enjoying every bit of performing this song.

Later we cut back to the piano, for the ending scene. Her voice cuts through our hearts as she means every single word she is singing. This is not just a normal music video, it’s one that will define future music videos; it’s a turning point. Not only that, but Jordan Gray is stunning, beautiful and completely sexy throughout!

Jordan Gray is definitely one to watch; she is easily proving that you can do whatever you want to do, regardless of who you are.

Platinum” is available to pre-order now on iTunes and Amazon, and will be officially released on 25 November, along with an exclusive remix by Danny Lee & Slim Tim. We previously reviewed the music video upon its announcement.
