Groundbreaking K-Pop sensations TVXQ! make their long-awaited return to music this week, with the release of their 9th full-length album ’20&2′ – out now via SM Entertainment.
Featuring the projects addictive lead single ‘Rebel’ – a fierce dance song characterised by intense drum beats and a weighty synth bass that culminates in explosive energy – the 10-track record serves as the duo’s first regular release in five years, and marks 20 years since their debut!
Covering a variety of musical styles and genres befitting the groups storied musical career, the album includes solo tracks from members U-KNOW and MAX CHANGMIN, along with personal lyrics from CHANGMIN and production by long-term collaborator KENZIE (NCT, Girls’ Generation).

Though TVXQ!’s last official studio release ‘New Chapter #2 : The Truth of Love’ dropped five years ago, marking their 15th anniversary in December 2018, the members have kept fans busy with various solo activities.
In early 2023, U-KNOW released his third extended play ‘Reality Show’, preceded by MAX CHANGMIN releasing his sophomore EP ‘Devil’ in 2022.
Following the release of ‘20&2’ – which stands for 20 years & 2 members – the legendary duo will continue the albums accompanying tour, which kicked off in Seoul, South Korea at the end of December last year.
In January the pair will visit Hong Kong, before heading to Bangkok in Thailand and Taipei in Taiwan in early February.
