As she gears up for the launch of her much anticipated, self-produced mini album ‘K1’ next month, music powerhouse Kamille today (August 11th) shares the projects third single ‘Time To Kill’ – an invigorating pop anthem that sees the BRIT Award winning singer/songwriter celebrate the joys of being in love!
Continuing to lean back into her musical roots, by incorporating elements of classic 80’s disco with funk driven beats, and infectious pop melodies, the timeless sounding track serves as something of a euphoric part two to previous single release ‘Muscle Memory’, a desperately sad, dance-floor filler that focused on an unrequited love, that resulted in a devastating break-up. This time around however, Kamille flips all of those feelings of despair on their head, and turns them into something “sexier and fun”, whilst all the while reflecting upon finding a genuine connection with someone who she thinks could be “the one”.
Of the storming pop bop the London native says: “I love that feeling when you just want to spend all your time with the one you love, when time feels like it stands still. This song is all about embracing that moment.”
