KCON New York Expand line up with ATEEZ, SF9 and EVERGLOW

After announcing last week that BIGHIT’S latest boy group Tomorrow X Together (TXT) and KPOP veterans NU’EST are the first acts to take the stage at the 2019 KCON festival, the line up has expanded by a further three groups.

Two more boy bands have joined the mix in the form of ATEEZ and SF9, as well as the first girl group added to the 2019 line up, EVERGLOW. All three acts are headed to the iconic Madison Square Garden this July.

In case you are unfamiliar with the newest additions to the lineup, let us introduce you to them.

ATEEZ

ATEEZ has been dubbed ‘monster rookies’ by KPOP fans. After only debuting with their double singles ‘Pirate King’ and ‘Treasure’ six months ago, they have already held a sold-out world tour across the United States and Europe to thousands of ATINYs. According to Korean charts, they are the 10th best selling boy group of 2019 thus far and debuted on the Billboard World Album Charts after the release of their mini-album Treasure EP.2: Zero to One. If these accomplishments are anything to go by, ATEEZ is set to do big things.

SF9

SF9 are no strangers to KCON after performing at the New York and LA stops in 2017 with incredible reactions from the crowd back then. The group hit it big time after the release of their single Now or Never, which aided them winning the Rising Star Award at the 2018 Asian Artist Awards. Their latest single ‘Enough’ is a mid-tempo EDM jam which will be sure to amaze the KCON crowds.

EVERGLOW

EVERGLOW’s debut screamed ‘CONFIDENCE.’ Bon Bon Chocolat has surpassed 24 million views only one month after it’s release and debuted at Number 5 on the Billboard World Singles Chart, one of the best debuts for a KPOP girl group ever. EVERGLOW are looking to be strong contenders for female Rookie of the Year with the hype that is surrounding them.

KCON New York is coming to Madison Square Garden and Javits on July 6th and 7th for the first time ever. Tickets will be available very soon from the KCON website, keep your eyes peeled for any further announcements.

There are still so many acts to be announced in the forthcoming weeks so make sure you’re following the KCON USA twitter and the CelebMix twitter for all the updates.
