Perhaps sifting under the radar this week, is Kesha’s incredibly catchy and emotional track, titled “Here Comes The Change”, which was released on Friday. It is taken from the upcoming film “On The Basis Of Sex” – which is set to drop on December 25, 2018. An accompanying music video was released alongside the song which is the follow up to her previous single “This Is Me” which was released from the box office smash film “The Greatest Showman”, as well as her feature on The Struts’ single titled “Body Talks”.
Kesha Sebert has been on quite a tough road over the last few years especially with her ongoing court proceedings against Dr. Luke but recently she’s been releasing new music that her fans have been loving. “Praying” was the incredible debut single from her recent album, and it sure did capture everyone’s attention. Her third studio album, Rainbow, was released in 2017 with astronomical success, managing to hit number one in the US and Canada, whilst scoring her best position on album charts in the UK, Australia, Belgium, Ireland, New Zealand, and Switzerland. Within the year since the album dropped, she gained her first Grammy nomination, and she toured with Macklemore; new music must be on the horizon, and it looks like this is set to be the first release.
This awesome new track has been written by Andrew Pearson, Kesha Sebert, and Stephen Wrabel while the production came from Drew Pearson. As for the lyric video, that has been directed by Brandon Bloch, and it was produced by Magic Seed Productions. The song is beyond powerful, and it just gives us chills every time we hear it.
Watch The Lyric Video To Kesha’s New Song “Here Comes The Change” Here:
The film that this song is taken from, “On The Basis Of Sex”, follows a true story of a young lawyer Ruth Bader Ginsburg who teams up with her husband to bring a groundbreaking case before the U.S. Court of Appeals and overturn a century of gender discrimination.
Baring that short description in mind, this song becomes even more passionate and fired-up in a way that only Kesha can possibly do – she sure knows how to sing to every heart in the world. The lyric video is quite basic, but as the song progresses the lyrics become the fallback as a slight narrative is set into motion. At the end, we see people registering to vote, prepared to make a change – the change.
“Here Comes The Change” is available to download and stream right now, through Kemosabe Records. We expect more new music from her soon.
