Belgium Eurovision representatives are coming through for us because, as well as Loïc Nottet dropping the new single “On Fire”, we also have Laura Tesoro who has dropped a new single and music video, titled “Mutual”. This release follows her previous single “Beast” which was released October 2017 – what a wait, and it was so worth it!
Laura Tesoro is best known for representing Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song “What’s The Pressure?”, where she came 10th with 181 points. Prior to Eurovision, she was known for playing Charlotte in the Flemish soap opera Familie and from there she went on to become a contestant on season three of The Voice van Vlaanderen where she came second. After Eurovision, she returned to The Voice only this time as a coach for The Voice Kids in 2017 and 2018. Now, we have this new song that we are totally addicted to, we’ve been waiting for a debut album from this female singer, could one be on its way sometime soon? We hope so.
This new song, “Mutual”, was written by David Gamson, Ella Eyre, Jörgen Eloffson, and Maria Hazell, whilst it was produced by Wouter Vander Veken and Palm Trees. As for the video, all we know from the YouTube description is that it is by Beeldhouwers, which is a Belgium production company.

The song is beyond catchy with Laura Tesoro impressing with her vocals, so much so that we would go as far as saying that this is the best we’ve ever heard her. Full of emotion she has fully clicked with this song, easily getting the message across.
As for the music video, it relates to the song perfectly, as we watch her flirt with her on-screen love interest. She looks beyond happy, which is endearing to watch. It paints the narrative of just having fun with a guy she likes. It is set at a photo shoot, her on-screen love interest is a photographer who is snapping her on set.
“Mutual” is available to download and stream right now, via Sony Music Entertainment Belgium.
