Releasing her first single of 2019 is Laura Tesoro, with the track “Up”. She’s best known for representing Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with “What’s The Pressure?” and she’s continuing to prove her versatility. This track follows up her previous single “Mutual”.
As previously mentioned, Laura Tesoro is best known for representing Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song “What’s The Pressure?”, where she came 10th with 181 points. Prior to Eurovision, she was known for playing Charlotte in the Flemish soap opera Familie and from there she went on to become a contestant on season three of The Voice van Vlaanderen where she came second. After Eurovision, she returned to The Voice only this time as a coach for The Voice Kids in 2017 and 2018. With the amount of singles she’s released to date, we can only hope an album is on its way.
This single has been written by Aaron Zuckerman, Michelle Buzz, and Sarah Barrio. It is fuelled with so much passion, Laura Tesoro is confident that she has nowhere else to go but up, and it sure speaks to us at CelebMix as we are full of self-motivation and prepared to do everything we can to reach our dreams.
Watch Laura Tesoro’s Lyric Video To “Up” Here:
Showing off a wonderful soulful side to her, Laura Tesoro knows exactly how to impress us. Her vocals are on point from start to finish as she builds and builds this song. You can tell by the end of it she’s found her courage and confidence to truly believe the words of the song, and as a listener, you can hear her progression throughout. The lyric video isn’t anything special but does allow us to sing-along and believe in the words ourselves.
“Up” is available to download and stream, right now, through Sony Music Entertainment Belgium. We keep on hoping that an album will be released soon as we need to hear Laura Tesoro’s amazing voice on a range of tracks.
