Your favorite lawyer and chihuahua duo are back! Well, we’re not exactly sure yet but according to the Today Show, Reese Witherspoon has officially declared that she’s anxious for a third installment of Legally Blonde.
Fourteen years after the premiere of the first movie, Reese says, “A lot of writers over the years have come up with different ideas for it – I actually think it’s kind of great right now because we’re talking about women in politics and how important that is to get more women.”
One may wonder what more the fabulous life of Ms. Woods has to offer. After getting accepted to Harvard – post failed engagement – and graduating top of her class, Elle has a solid career choice she wants to pursue. Can you guess it? Reese says, “I think it’d be a cool thing to have her be a Supreme Court Justice or somebody who runs for office, like president.”
Upon further speculations, Luke Wilson, who plays Elle’s love interest, has also talked about a future reunion with the cast. On Monday’s Late Late Show with James Cordon, Wilson said, “It wasn’t as highly thought of as the first one,” when speaking about Legally Blonde 2. “That’s why we need to do a third one, to win everyone back.”
