Lewis Capaldi is without doubt one of the biggest success stories of 2019 and his reign looks set to continue with the release of his new EP Bruises.
Headed up by the original version of the track, taken from Lewis’ number one album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, the EP also includes an orchestral version of the track, a stripped back acoustic rendition, in addition to a hard-hitting remix by DJ and producer Steve Void.
The track itself has already reached platinum status in the UK thanks to gargantuan streaming numbers, and the release of this EP will no doubt ensure that ‘Bruises’ is another hit for Lewis.
Check out the EP below.
‘Bruises’ follows on from Lewis’ singles ‘Grace’, ‘Hold Me While You Wait’, and the smash hit ‘Someone You Loved’. Having spent seven weeks at the top of the UK Singles Chart earlier this year, ‘Someone You Loved’ is currently climbing the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number three.
Lewis has also enjoyed remarkable success with his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent. The album spent six weeks at the top of the UK Albums Chart, taking just ten weeks to be certified platinum. It is also currently the second highest selling album of the year, just behind The Greatest Showman original soundtrack.
If that wasn’t enough, 2019 has seen Lewis performing across the world both with his own headline shows, supporting Ed Sheeran and numerous global festivals. With a sold out winter headline tour ahead and a 2020 arena tour which sold out before his album was even released, there really is no stopping Lewis Capaldi right now.
Bruises is available to download and stream now.
