News broke at the beginning of the year that Liam Payne would be collaborating with Juicy J, and fans have been impatiently waiting ever since. Given no release date, the world had no idea when they would be treated to new vocals from the singer.
Fortunately, that day is here! On Wednesday afternoon, the track You (Which you can listen to here) was released. Liam can be heard singing the hook of the song.
All I need is you / anything you want / anything you want girl
A surprise comes at the end of the track when you can hear Payne’s signature laugh followed by “That’s so funny!”
Liam tweeted after the songs release, revealing that it was a “one take scratch demo.” He went on to clarify that the song isn’t a single of his, but more akin to a weekend project.
Hearing that I've got a single out lol thats a surprise to me that's a one take scratch demo I was writing with someone as an idea for them

This is only the beginning of solo material from Payne; this song is reported to be one of five tracks that he has worked on. Liam gave us a taste of his solo material when he posted a short video of himself singing a song he wrote.
Ever since the start of One Direction’s hiatus, fans have been itching to see what new material the boys would deliver. We’re happy to say that Liam does not disappoint; we’re looking forward to hearing what he releases next!
