Earlier today, the performers for BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards 2018 were announced. Taking place at Wembley’s SSE Arena on Sunday October 21, the ceremony celebrates some of the UK’s most inspirational teens as well as their favourite celebrities.

Heading up this year’s line up are our favourite girlband Little Mix, who will hopefully be showcasing some new material from their forthcoming fifth album. Speaking about the news, the girls said: “We are so excited to be performing at Radio 1’s Teen Awards so we will see you all there.”

Joining Little Mix are Australian four-piece 5 Seconds of Summer, who shared their excitement at being part of the ceremony. “We can’t wait to be back in the UK playing shows. It’s one of our favourite places to play. To be able to play Radio 1’s Teen Awards before our own tour starts is the perfect way to kick things off! Thanks to Radio 1 for having us, can’t wait to see everyone there!”

DJ and producer Jonas Blue, American duo Jack & Jack, rising star HRVY, BBC’s Sound of 2018 winner Sigrid, and ‘Fine Line’ collaborators Mabel and Not3s complete the line up.
