It’s time to get excited Mixers! Little Mix is back in the studio, writing and recording brand new music for the girls’ fourth album.
Leigh-Anne tweeted this adorable picture of the group today, to announce that new music is in the works. Jade is sporting wavy hair, Jesy is looking stunning as always, and Leigh and Perrie are pulling cute pouty faces. Leigh-Anne reminded Mixers to watch their Twitter for more information about the new music- so make sure you have those notifications turned on!

We can only hope that the girls don’t leave us hanging for too long! Maybe they will give us a sneak peek of the songs in progress, like they did for Hair and Grown a while back. Even a short brainstorming video like this one would be a treat!
With the announcement of new music comes the speculation of what it could involve. We already know some basic facts about the fourth album! The girls have said they are aiming for an R&B vibe, something different from Get Weird, but still not too far away. There are some collaborations in the works, one that Perrie cried upon hearing it was confirmed. It will likely be released in 2017, so we still have a long time to wait. However, there is always the possibility of the lead single being released late this year!

The girls just wrapped up their Get Weird tour, where they showed off their amazing live performances to 600,000 people, making it the largest tour by a girl group this decade. Check out some of the best moments from this incredible tour- one that we can’t wait for them to top once the new album is out!
Little Mix also plan to release their second fragrance, called Wishmaker, sometime soon.
