We’ve known the video was Western themed after a few teaser pictures dropped during the past few weeks, as well as from the short teaser clip the girls posted this afternoon. Ever since that country performance of ‘Black Magic’ on Saturday Night Takeaway, we’ve been waiting for Little Mix to fully embrace the Western aesthetic again.
Of course, the ladies looked fabulous in their western attire and bold makeup looks. Jade and Perrie donned cowboy hats, Jesy rocked a leather top and gladiator sandals, and Leigh-Anne made a statement with pink thigh-high cowboy boots. Filmed in Nashville and set at an old-fashioned saloon, the music video is as country-esque as a pop song can get!
The video begins with the girls entering the saloon, ready to dance the night away. We absolutely loved the fact that the street performer outside was playing an acoustic rendition of ‘Shout Out To My Ex’! There’s a dramatic pause when the girls assess their surroundings, before striding in confidently. The rest of the music video is a lot of country-themed fun and dancing. There’s climbing on pool tables, dancing on bars, and even mock bull riding!

Then, Machine Gun Kelly pops into the bar to perform his rap segment of the song. This actually marks the first time that an artist featured in a Little Mix track appears onscreen alongside the girls! During the rest of the rap, the camera cuts back to some beautiful slow-motion hair flip shots of the girls riding the bulls. The video closes out with Little Mix dancing on the bar, showering a large crowd in front of them with water hoses. It looks like it was a blast to film!
The choreography isn’t as intense as some past Little Mix videos- like ‘Touch’, ‘Move’, or ‘Salute’, but the laidback style of dancing really suits the song. We think Little Mix slayed the western theme, and this music video was an awesome addition to the Glory Days era. We’re still waiting for the first live performance of the single, hopefully with Machine Gun Kelly as well!
Little Mix have been travelling across North America supporting Ariana Grande on her Dangerous Woman Tour, and are unfortunately nearing the end of their stay. They have also been promoting their last single ‘Touch’ in an effort to gain even more success in America. In fact, last night the girls appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden with a killer performance of ‘Touch’.
