Mixers, stay calm. There’s a very good chance that you’ll be getting new Little Mix music sooner than anticipated. Earlier today, Music Week magazine reported that Little Mix will be releasing a platinum edition of their fourth album, Glory Days, on November 24th, 2017. This version is said to include bonus content from the Glory Days era that didn’t appear on the original album, in addition to three brand new songs!
Along with their most recent collaboration with Latin boyband CNCO on the remix of ‘Reggaeton Lento’, the album will include their other singles with newly added features: ‘Touch’ ft. Kid Ink, ‘No More Sad Songs’ ft. Machine Gun Kelly, and ‘Power’ ft. Stormzy. The latter two singles were made into music videos featuring the male rappers earlier this year, while the music video for the ‘Reggaeton Lento’ remix dropped two weeks ago.
As if this news couldn’t get any better, the platinum edition of Glory Days is also said to include a long-awaited Little Mix documentary. Filmed during the first leg of the Glory Days tour earlier this year, the documentary will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the girls on tour. Filmmaker Adam Goodall tweeted to confirm that Little Mix Glory Days: The Documentary will be released in November.

The news of a platinum edition of Glory Days comes as a surprise to Little Mix fans, many of whom were expecting their fifth album to be released before 2017 comes to a close. Some pointed out that a 2018 release date gives the girls more time to perfect their fifth album, while the re-release of Glory Days, the three new songs, and the documentary keeps everyone hyped up in the meantime. Other fans also brought up the possibility that the three new songs on the platinum edition of Glory Days could also appear on Little Mix’s fifth album.
When asked about how soon fans could expect to hear “LM5” at the iHeart Radio Music Festival, Jesy replied: “Very soon, very soon.” Jade added: “Soon means we can’t tell ya because we’ll get told off by our label.” So, with any luck, we’ll get to hear an entire album full of new music from Little Mix soon enough!
Little Mix is currently preparing to embark on the European leg of their Glory Days tour next week in Aberdeen, Scotland. The tour will conclude in London on November 26th. The girls also celebrated Leigh-Anne’s birthday over the weekend, as she will be turning 26 on October 4th. All four girls attended the party, and Leigh-Anne looked particularly stunning in an outfit she helped design!
