Let’s be honest, Loreen has seriously been on-form when it comes to new music. This is her fourth new single in the past three and a half months – fifth new track if we also count her EP; yes, that’s right, she also dropped an EP, titled “Nude“. She’s leading up to her second studio album, and “Hate The Way I Love You” follows up recently released single “’71 Charger“.

For those of you who don’t know who she is, she won the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 for Sweden, with “Euphoria”. She gained 372 points, receiving the highest number of maximum 12 points of any entry in the contest’s 62-year history; she gained 12 points from a total of 18 countries. Not only that, the song charted well all around the world, gaining many number ones in Europe. It has been certified 10x Platinum in her home country of Sweden.

Since then she’s been biding her time, finding her sound; and, finally, she’s ready to release her second studio album, which will be titled “RIDE”. She’s recently released “Body”, “Jungle” feat. Elliphant, and “’71 Charger“. Her “Nude EP” contained the former two tracks, as well as “Ocean Away”, which also had a three-track music video released. That was followed up by a music video for “’71 Charger“, and she recently dropped a teaser video for this new song “Hate The Way I Love You”. We expect the music video will drop on Friday.

As for her sophomore album, that will be out on 24 November 2017; not too long of a wait now. We’re pretty sure the five-years has done Loreen good, and if “’71 Charger” and “Hate The Way I Love You” is anything to go by; we’re sure “RIDE” is going to be an album we won’t be able to stop talking about; let alone an album we won’t be able to stop listening to.

Listen To Loreen’s New Track “Hate The Way I Love You” Here:

Her music has certainly developed in the five years since “Euphoria”. Not one to conform, Loreen continues to take haphazard steps on her new musical journey that definitely shows her as a defining figure in the industry; one who’s prepared to take risks and create something beyond original.

She stuns us with her gorgeous droning voice and symphonic backing track during the six and a half minute song. Passionate throughout, Loreen has created this meaningful ballad whilst sticking to her new style of music. The lyrics focus on how much love can seriously cause pain and hurt. It’s another grower of a song, one that has a few similar traits to “’71 Charger“, whilst being more of a ballad than an upbeat track.

This track is available to download and stream right now; whilst a one-minute teaser video of the soon-to-be-released music video is available on her YouTube Channel. Her new songs are certainly a whole new journey for Loreen, one we haven’t seen anyone venture down yet. This song just continues to prove that her new album “RIDE” is not just going to be a work of art, but it’s bound to be a masterpiece.

It looks like the music video has similar scenes to the music video to “’71 Charger“. With some clips including the Dodge Charger used in the previous visual. We can’t wait to see the full video.
