With a well-deserved break in the near future, One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson opens up about his plans for the break.
The 23 year old sat for an interview for the X Factor’s YouTube channel, and it appears that Tomlinson will be keeping himself quite busy as he explores new endeavors. He shares, “I’ve got a little label in print so I’m trying to work with that at the moment. I’m lucky enough to be working with Simon. We’ve got a few different projects going on at the moment one of which is we’re trying to put a girl band together.”
He goes on to say, “It’s really exciting to be involved in the different side of it, the background.”
Tomlinson will also work alongside Simon Cowell as a guest judge on the X Factor. The pop sensation called it an “honor to come back” seeing as this is the place where it all began for him.
In 2010, Tomlinson auditioned for the X Factor. While making it through the initial audition, Tomlinson was cut before making it to the judge’s house portion of the completion. However, Simon Cowell, at the suggestion of fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger, grouped Tomlinson alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik to form One Direction. The boys would eventually place third in the competition. And the rest, as they say, is history.
