Lukas Graham is back with a new single – and it was definitely worth the wait.
The Grammy Award-nominated, multi-platinum band Lukas Graham (made up by Lukas Graham, Mark Falgren, and Magnus Larsson) just released the single ‘Love Someone’. The track takes an honest, intimate look at human emotions, and is described by Lukas as being about “the kind of love I’m feeling that I’ve never felt before.”
‘Love Someone’ sets the stage for the release of the highly-anticipated new album ‘3 (The Purple Album)‘ on October 26th via Warner Bros. Records.
Engaged to his long-term girlfriend, and proud father of a little girl, Viola, Lukas is balancing the rigors of the road with family life and the attendant expectations. The self-titled debut was dedicated in large part to Lukas’ late father, ‘3’ is for his daughter. It sees Lukas push deeper still, holding a magnifying glass up to his life, laying bare his vulnerabilities as well as his fears, his sadness and his joy.
‘3’ serves as the follow-up to Lukas Graham’s eponymous global debut, which saw lead single ‘7 Years’ gain over 20 million units worldwide, hitting number one in 13 different countries, and ultimately earning three Grammy Award nominations. The breakout smash was the highest-selling single by a debut artist in 2016 and catapulted the Danish band to sold-out tours around the world and widespread critical acclaim.
