Luke Friend has released his exceptional new single, ‘L I A R’ – his first release of new music he has been working on.

‘L I A R’ is an upbeat track, which maintains a fantastic beat throughout, also showcasing Luke’s vocals. In addition, the track is extremely catchy and will inevitably have you singing along immediately after listening to the track!
The track is quite a contrast to previous releases by the talented singer and song-writer, showcasing his diversity and continually developing music sound. The lyrics will be relatable to listeners, which has been a recurring theme throughout his music over the years.
Luke Friend is best known for appearing on ‘The X Factor’ in 2013 – with him finishing in third place overall and was mentored by Louis Walsh. Since coming off the show, he has continued to go from strength to strength, with some of his many achievements including his single ‘Hole In My Heart’ making it in to the Official Top 40 Charts and the release of an EP in 2017.
It has recently been announced that he will be will be portraying the character of ‘Saint Jimmy’ in the 2019 UK tour of ‘American Idiot,’ with him going on to say that ‘dreams really do come true’ and when sharing the news, he thanked those who continue to support him.
