Mabel, one of 2018’s most exciting new artists, is ready to follow-up on the success of her last single, ‘Finders Keepers’. This time around, Mabel is teaming up with rapper Not3s to unleash her new single titled, ‘Fine Line‘. We first caught wind of this single when it was teased at the end of Mabel’s ‘Finders Keepers’ music video:
Since the ‘Finders Keepers’ music video was released, Mabel has gone on to release a mixtape titled, ‘Ivy to Roses’. The mixtape didn’t feature ‘Fine Line’ on it, which got fans questioning whether the single had been scrapped. Nevertheless, the single was announced last week, with Mabel teasing us more and more as the release date got closer.
‘Fine Line’ was premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 as the ‘Hottest Record’ and upon playing the single for the first time, she also got Mabel in for an interview. The ‘Finders Keepers’ singer admitted to Annie Mac that an album is in the works and it will feature both tracks, ‘Fine Line’ and ‘Finders Keepers’. Mabel also described the album as ‘unapologetic’ and ‘full of good vibes’.

This won’t be the first time Mabel and Not3s have teamed up on a single together as Mabel is featured on a remix of Not3s’ latest single, ‘My Lover’. The remix of ‘My Lover’ has taken the UK by storm, climbing up on the charts and peaking within the top 20. Also, with a music video set in London’s Winter Wonderland, what’s not to love?
What is next for Mabel?
With a debut album in the works and Mabel’s rise to pop stardom only beginning, this won’t be the last time we hear from her.
