Malcolm in the Middle Comeback May Be Happening

US sitcom Malcolm in the Middle was last on the air way back in 2006 but the hilarious show about a genius boy growing up with a chaotic family could now be set for a sensational comeback.

Bryan Cranston who starred in the show as Malcolm’s father Hal, has revealed he is hopeful the cast will reunite sooner rather than later.

Speaking at the Maui Film Festival where he was honoured with a Navigator Award, Bryan said of a possible reunion “I sure hope so“, before adding “I really do, for no other reason than that I miss those people like crazy and I stay in touch with them. The boys are doing great and Jane [Kaczmarek] (Lois) is doing wonderfully and I’d love to.”

The actor also stated; “There’s a possibility we want to start talking about the possibility of putting together a story that makes sense about that family 10 years or 12 years later,”

Asked whether he thought the possible reunion may be on Netflix rather than network television, Cranston said:  “You and I have seen this business change before our eyes, I don’t know how it works. I don’t know how everything works anymore but all I want to do is tell the story and have a good experience.”

Malcolm in the Middle premiered way back in 2000 on the TV channel FOX, during it’s six-year-run the hit family sitcom starring Frankie Muniz as Malcolm, won an incredible seven Emmys.
