Mamamoo’s Hwasa Makes Solo Debut on M Countdown with “Twit”

Hwasa performed her new single, “Twit,” for the very first time on South Korean television program, M Countdown. The performance marked Hwasa’s solo debut from her group, Mamamoo.

Before Hwasa went on stage, she addressed some of the controversy surrounding her revealing outfits during Mamamoo’s recent performances. She seemed to have not let the haters get to her though, and instead, chose to embrace her body and unique wardrobe. For her debut stage, she opted for a blue outfit covered in plastic, and she definitely rocked it!

Hwasa released “Twit” on February 13th along with a music video. The single has been received well by fans around the world, not just in Korea. Currently, the single is the top-selling K-pop song in America. After its release, it quickly entered the Top 100 of the U.S. iTunes Top Songs chart.

As well as M Countdown, the singer performed “Twit” on Music Bank. Fans can expect to see more performances of the new single in the coming weeks.
