Australian pop artist MARLOE. has officially kicked off her 2022 campaign with the release of her brand new single ‘What A Day‘, a song that showcases a feel-good, bright anthem mixed with MARLOE.’s gleeful, soothing vocals.
Following on from the release of as her first release of 2022, ‘What A Day’ offers a glimpse into the ever-growing nuances of MARLOE. – as continues to stroll closer to the release of her sophomore EP – as she delivers a stunning performance leaving off a sense of freedom and happiness for the future.
Additionally, the strengths of this song shine best through the bouncy nature of its production mixed equally well with the underlying groovy vocal spread throughout the song’s over-3-minute runtime.
“I actually got engaged the night before I wrote this song,” MARLOE. says on the release of her new song. “Although it isn’t about love or another person, it is about the relationship you have with yourself and how it feels to be free.”
MARLOE. also shares her thoughts on the message she wants to connect with her fans: “I hope it makes anyone who listens reflect about themselves and the areas they might be letting other people, jobs, society etc hold them back from being exactly who they’re supposed to be.”
MARLOE.’s sophomore EP is due out for release on February 18th.
