We have followed the contestants right from their first audition, watched them compete for a chair at the renowned brutal Six Chair Challenge, saw them fight for a place in the Live Shows at Judges’ Houses and now the final sixteen contestants have been selected and are preparing for the first Live Show of the new series of ‘The X Factor.’

Here at CelebMix, we introduce you to the 2018 batch of contestants for the Live Shows. In this article, we introduce you to the LMA Choir, who are in the Groups Category and will be mentored by Robbie Williams.

#XFactor don't normally do choirs… but then again @LMACHOIR aren't a normal choir. Can they go all the way at the Live Shows? ? pic.twitter.com/whS1CgioYq

Choirs don’t usually feature on the show, but their energy and vocals have made them stand-out contestants from their first audition, whereby they performed ‘The Greatest Showman’ hit ‘This Is Me.’

The fourteen-piece Choir are a group of students from Liverpool, with teacher Stephanie leading the way. The students all come from a Performing Arts Academy in their home city and have sung together for two years.

When competing for a seat at the Six Chair Challenge, the LMA Choir performed ‘A Change Is Gonna Come’ by Sam Cooke. Their performance earned them a seat, meaning they were through to the Judges’ Houses stage of the competition.

At the Judges’ Houses stage of the competition, the Choir performed James Bay classic ‘Hold Back The River’ for mentor Robbie Williams and his special guest David Walliams.

Make sure you are following the LMA Choir on their official Twitter account to stay up-to-date with their time in the competition!

The first Live Show of ‘The X Factor’ will be aired on ITV on Saturday 20 October at 8.25 pm.

Make sure you tune in to the show to see how the LMA Choir get on!
