It may only be February but it feels like all of our Christmases have come at once with the news that singer Meghan Trainor is returning to the music scene with a brand new single and music video. It’s been a long year without her, but her much-anticipated comeback seems like it is going to be bigger and better than ever and we can barely contain our excitement!
Needless to say we aren’t the only ones who are pumped for Meghan’s return to music, as her fans completely went into meltdown a couple of days ago when the, “Dear Future Husband,” songstress took to her social media pages to announce, “No Excuses,” which is set to be the lead single on her upcoming third album.

Just yesterday, the blonde beauty teased a sneak peek of the future hit in an Instagram post which featured a countdown suggesting that her fans will be getting more teasers of the single in the run up to its official release on 1st March.
She also captioned the post with what we assume to be some lyrics from the song and they sound so cool and sassy! We. Need. More.

Meghan’s five day countdown teaser was then quickly followed up by the even more exciting news that the official music video for, “No Excuses,” will be dropping on the same day at 8am EST… Insert overly excited scream here.
She revealed this news with another Instagram post which showed a behind-the-scenes look at the music video, and we can already tell that it is going to be amazing.

“No Excuses,” will be the first and lead single on Meghan Trainor’s forthcoming third album which is surely going to be an incredible body of work full of catchy bops if her previous albums are anything to go by.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the singer confirmed that her album was complete and that it was, “really special,” because she managed to persuade her family to sing on every track, with her father even playing the piano on one song!
Well, we think it’s fair to say that there are no excuses for not being excited about Meghan’s new era starting off with the release of, “No Excuses,” on Thursday at 8am EST. Be there or be square.
