Mel C has dropped a brand new single called ‘Anymore’.
The former Spice Girl premiered the electronic pop track on Chris Evans’ Radio 2 Breakfast Show earlier today, before unveiling the visuals.
During the video, we see Melanie immerse herself in the music at a dimly lit club. There are also plenty of shots of people dancing along to the catchy song in the streets and various other locations.
‘Anymore’ is the first single to be lifted from Mel C’s forthcoming seventh album Version of Me. The album is due for release on October 21, and the former Spice Girl recently revealed the tracklisting for it.
Speaking about her new album, Mel said: “I wanted to make an album that I would listen to now.”
I’m not a left field artist, I never will be. I write pop songs, but my aim this time was to approach every aspect of them differently, to be more creative with structure and sounds. Whatever felt right, I went with.
Mel has been working hard in the studio with longtime co-writers Peter Vettese and Adam Argyle to create her new album. Recorded in LA and London, it is set to be Mel’s most contemporary sounding album – a deeply personal affair full of shimmering synths, striking percussion and strings.
