One year on from the official release of his worldwide smash-hit single ‘Day Drunk’ which topped both the Aussie Pop and Country charts and is continuing to gain major growth across streaming platforms having amassed over 85 million global on-demand streams, Australian country music singer/songwriter Morgan Evans has shared the music video for the track.
The clip sees Evans continuing to push boundaries thanks to its innovative production. Directed by renowned filmmaker Colin Duffy and shot on Long Beach, CA, the video retraces Morgan’s steps on a boozy adventure that ends with a splash and uniquely was filmed completely in reverse, meaning the Nashville based artist had to learn the lyrics backwards.
Along with sharing the fun-filled ‘Day Drunk’ music video, Morgan Evans will be embarking on his headlining World tour this autumn where he will perform 26 gigs across 8 countries, including live dates in Dublin, Glasgow, Liverpool, and London before performing at this year’s The Long Road festival next month. This will mark his first appearance in the UK since he played at the 2018 C2C (Country to Country) Festival.
