New character posters have been released for the upcoming animated movie The Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature, which will hit theaters on August 11th.
The movie is a sequel to the 2014 film The Nut Job and will see the return of Surly Squirrel and his gang of animal friends, as well as some new characters. Taking place in the fictional town of Oakton City, Surly and his friends work together to prevent the city’s evil mayor from bulldozing their home of Liberty Park and replacing it with a dangerous amusement park.
The Nut Job 2 includes its star-studded cast of Will Arnett, Katherine Heigl, Maya Rudolph, Bobby Moynihan, Gabriel Iglesias, Jeff Dunham, Bobby Cannavale, Isabela Moner, Sebastian Maniscalo, Peter Stormare and Jackie Chan.

The film is directed by Cal Brunker and written by Scott Bindley, Cal Brunker, and Bob Barlen. It is also produced by Mike Karz and Bill Bindley and is distrubuted by Open Road Films.
