American sitcom ‘New Girl’ will be celebrating its 100th episode this week.
The episode is called “Goosebumps Walkway” and will show Zooey Deschanel’s character Jess returning from jury sequestration. Guest star Megan Fox’s character Reagan will also be seen moving out of the loft.
This episode will be the end of a storyline that was created to deal with Zooey’s maternity leave.
The cast and crew of the show have expressed their feelings towards this achievement.
Lamorne Morris, who plays Winston in the series said in an interview: “It means a lot for the show. It means that people love it. It’s developed a fanbase”.
The show does indeed have it’s own fanbase and it has been popular from its very first episode. The pilot, which aired in 2011, had 10.28 million US viewers!
As well as celebrating this milestone, the show was nominated for the Favourite Network TV Comedy at the Peoples Choice Awards, but unfortunately they lost out to ‘The Big Bang Theory’.
See what some of the cast had to say on twitter:
