It’s no secret that once you become addicted to a television show, you fall in love with the plot, the characters, and setting. It’s almost as if we begin to live our lives through these characters and look forward to the excitement of a new episode every week (unless of course binge watching on Netflix is an option.)
However, once that show ends, we develop a sense of nostalgia and wish somehow we could uncover more of the characters and learns what happens next. The newest original Netflix series, “Fuller House” does just that.
The Pilot episode and entire season of Fuller House was released on Netflix February 26th and for many generations, childhood memories were brought back and becoming a reality once more. What better way to start off the Pilot episode than with the original theme song? The original cast, the same house that became home to the viewers over the years, and the same jokes that brought smiles to our faces.
Fans of the show can’t help but wonder what is to be expected from the new original series. Viewers quickly learn that the oldest Tanner sibling, DJ, has three children (all boys) and has recently become a widow. Stephanie and Kimmy come together to help DJ raise her kids during her struggles, much like Jessie and Joey did to Danny all those years ago. It’s almost as if this series carries out a reversal plot of the original – and we love it.
The Full House and Fuller House star Lori Loughlin (Aunt Becky) goes on to explain that filming this series was just like “coming home” and we can’t help but agree.
If you’re wanting to become a part of the beloved Tanner family, below is a trailer for Fuller House. Don’t forget, you can only catch Fuller House on Netflix!
