Romania has had a bundle of female pop artists who have made their mark across European and U.S. markets and now, Global Records have decided to combine four successful women to form one super girl group.

The girl group is made up of Alexandra Stan, Inna, Antonia & Lori. Stan is known for her mega international hit ‘Mr. Saxobeat’ which went platinum in numerous countries including the U.K, the U.S., Austria, Japan, etc. It became a surprise success in America where it peaked and charted not only at #21 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, but at #18 on the mainstream top 40 chart! It also became the first million selling single in Romania.

Inna, while not having successfully cracked the U.S. market, is very well known around Europe and Mexico. Her debut single back in 2006, entitled ‘Hot’ broke through in numerous European charts including the U.K. (#6), Spain (#1), France (#6), etc.

A few of her other successful charting songs include ‘Deja Vu’, ‘Amazing’, ‘Sun Is Up’, and ‘Cola Song’. Her debut album also sold over 1 million copies worldwide.

Lori and Antonia have had great domestic success in Romania with singles such as ‘Morena’, ‘Marabou’ and ‘Hurricane’. Antonia has lived in the United States since she was five years old and and explored modeling as a career. She later moved back to Romania when she graduated high school at the age of 18 in the states and her musical career took off.

Check out the house-inspired track below and jam away!

The song has already skyrocketed and debuted at number one on the German Hit Fire singles charts. No news have developed in regards to the girl group touring across Europe and America. But with only one single, perhaps they are only tasting the waters!

We’ll see if the come up with more club bangers! Nonetheless, welcome to the girl group pack, G Girls! We can’t wait to hear more!
