Nina Nesbitt has made a swift return to the music scene with a fierce new single, ‘Loyal To Me’
After a spring full of touring and a summer of festival gigs, Nina Nesbitt has released her latest single, ‘Loyal To Me’ which was produced by Frazer T Smith. Smith has worked with a few other British musicians throughout his career, including Stormzy and Adele. Once again, his production has proven to be a musical genius on this single from Nesbitt with it’s upbeat and empowering vibe.
‘Loyal To Me’ follows a string of singles released this year by Nesbitt, including ‘Somebody Special’ and ‘The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change’.
Nesbitt has described the new single as, “a list of symptoms you need to look out for when you fear you may be dating someone who doesn’t have the best intentions.” ‘Loyal To Me’ also is channelling some serious 90s pop vibes, think back to the early days of Britney and Xtina served with empowering lyrics, like a Destiny Child’s song.
The new single from Nesbitt also applies to her fellow British peers, in the same sense. Upon hearing the single for the first time, we couldn’t help but compare it to Billie Piper’s 2000 single, ‘Day & Night’.
‘Loyal To Me’ is already having a huge impact on Nesbitt’s career as an independent artist. Following the single’s release yesterday, Nesbitt is featured on the cover of this week’s ‘New Music Friday UK’ playlist cover courtesy of Spotify.
