    The Nominees For The 2017 CMA Awards Have Been Announced

    The complete list of nominees for this year’s annual Country Music Association Awards has been released and we are so happy that some of our favourites have been selected.

    Miranda Lambert looks to be leading the pack with a total of five nominations, but Keith Urban and Little Big Town are hot on her heels with a respective four nominations each.

    But that’s not all, as the Country Music Association have also announced that they will be honouring certain individuals during the upcoming event by presenting them with Special Recognition Awards for their hard work and extraordinary talent.

    The recipients of these awards were first announced back in April, but here is a reminder in case you have forgotten:

    The International Country Music Broadcaster Award – Bob Harris
    The Jo-Walker Meador International Award – Rob Potts
    The Jeff Walker Global Country Artist Award – The Shires
    The International Artist Achievement Award – Carrie Underwood
    The Wesley Rose International Media Achievement Award – Richard Wootton

    To find out which artists will be adding a shiny new award to their collection, make sure you tune into the 2017 Country Music Association Awards when they air live on ABC on 8th November at 8pm.
