One Direction win British Video at The 2017 BRITs

It’s not a surprise, nor is it unlikely, that fans would get One Direction yet another win while the boys enjoy their hiatus. Harry, Louis, Niall, and Liam have been doing their own thing for several months now. While they’ve been taking their time and staying out of the spotlight they lived in for years, they remain thankful to their fans for the massive support that they’re always shown.

When the nominations for Video of the Year were posted, fans began tweeting the One Direction hashtag all across Twitter. The video was a bit like a scrapbook of the most incredible 5 years in recent music history. The special bond between One Direction and their fans is unmatched, there’s nothing else like it. A line of the song calls the band, and their fans, the greatest team that the world has ever seen. Nothing describes that better.

That was proven again as the lads won British Video for ‘History’ and Liam surprised us all when he got on stage and reminded fans of how special it is to be part of this team, and how much love exists between all of us.

‘One Direction is who we are, it’s who we always will be.’

Even as they explore their solo interests, take on projects that they didn’t have time to get involved with before, and live their lives for themselves for the first time in a long time – fans are still showing them unwavering support. The fans do everything that they can, in any way that they can, to show support to Liam, Niall, Louis, and Harry – and they remain just as humble now as they did the first time they took the stage.

While there’s no timeframe for the rest of the hiatus, it’s confirmed further every time the boys speak of their incredible time together, and what it means to them, that their return is inevitable. For now, we love them as a band and as individuals and we can’t wait to see what is in store for them next. From solo singles and albums to films – they’re taking on the world one step at a time, and we’re so glad to be fans of theirs.

Congratulations, One Direction, we’re so proud of you.
