OneRepublic are back with another sensational banger in the form of ‘Wanted’.
Combining relatable lyricism with their trademark earworm melodic style, ‘Wanted’ sees OneRepublic continue with the theme of their recent material ‘Rescue Me’ and ‘Connection’ as they explore the importance of and the need to form meaningful human connections.

Written by Ryan Tedder, Brent Kutzle, Casey Smith, Zach Skelton and Tyler Spry, with production by Ryan, Brent, and Tyler, ‘Wanted’ is a song which has been in the works for quite some time. The song has been performed live by the band since last summer with slightly different lyrics and ever since then, their fans have been patiently awaiting the final studio version.
It’s safe to say that OneRepublic did not disappoint, with fans lapping up the track on social media. If that wasn’t enough, the band have also unveiled the track’s official music video. Directed by Christian Lamb of Black Dog Films, who also directed the video for ‘Rescue Me’, the visual sees Ryan deliver an impassioned performance by showcasing some of his best contemporary moves alongside ballerinas before joining the rest of the band.

OneRepublic have once again tapped into a theme which is so relatable in this day and age. We’ve all experienced the urge and need to feel wanted at least once in our lives, and this track perfectly encapsulates those feelings, with the music video further heightening those emotions.
