One of Netflix’s biggest original series, Orange Is the New Black, is to return on the 9th June for its fifth season. The news was announced via the show’s social media accounts with the accompanying video.
The 15-second teaser doesn’t reveal much about the new season, apart from featuring some familiar faces. Season four left us on the edge of out seats, patiently anticipating what happened after. Danielle Brooks, who plays Taystee, revealed that the new season will capture three days in Litchfield Penitentiary, with it being very detailed and very intense.
The cast recently won the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
