It has been confirmed that Orlando Bloom will return for Pirates 5.
Earlier today at the D23 convention. It was confirmed that Orlando will be reprising his much loved role of “Will Turner” in the 5th Movie in the franchise “Dead Men Tell No Tales.”One of the main heroes of the original trilogy, Bloom was absent from 2011’s On Stranger Ties.
Johnny Depp also appeared on stage dressed as Jack Sparrow and threw grapes into the crowd as a drunk and rather crazy pirate does.
Filming on the movie wrapped last week in Australia. Johnny Depp and Geoffry Rush are reprising their roles as are Kevin R. McNally as Joshamee Gibbs, and Stephen Graham as Scrum. alongside newcomers Kaya Scodelario and Javier Bardem(who will play the films baddie Captain Salazar).
Dead Men Tell No Tales hits theaters on July 7, 2017.
